- How long is it, and how many questions? 120+ questions, about 60–90 minutes.
- Will it tell me when the result is not clear? Yes. Every report carries a confidence level.
- Does it catch careless or inconsistent answers? Yes, and it flags them on the report rather than hiding them.
- Who reviewed the scoring? It was reviewed independently by a practising psychologist.
- Can I read a complete sample report first? Yes, free, with no sign-up.
- Does the report explain why each stream ranked where it did? Yes. Every stream is ranked, with the evidence behind it.
- What does counselling cost, and is it bundled into the price? It is priced separately and only on request. The report price is the whole price.
Common questions
Which is the best stream selection test in India?
No independent body ranks stream tests, so be wary of any site that says it is number one, ours included. Judge any test with the checklist on this page: whether it tests reasoning, whether it tells you when the result is unclear, and whether you can read a sample report before paying.
Is a free stream selector test enough to decide?
It is a reasonable place to start. Most free quizzes ask what you enjoy rather than measure how you reason, so treat the result as something to explore. How a free quiz compares with a full test.
How much does a stream selection test cost?
Free quizzes cost nothing. The career platforms we looked at in October 2026 commonly charge ₹1,000–₹2,500 for a test and report, and ₹10,000 or more with counselling sessions. Why do you not name other companies?
